Carpet Theatre  was established by Ciarán Taylor in 2002 to create new, and devised theatre. (It began life as BDNC Theatre). The company has created sixteen site-specific, promenade, and theatre-based shows, which have toured in Ireland, Wales, Czech Republic, Romania, and Bulgaria. Artistic Director Ciarán Taylor trained at Ecole Jacques Lecoq, Paris and The University of Kent.
Carpet Theatre was highly commended at the Business to Arts Awards 2010.
